The Charleston crew meets up on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month.

We meet at the old Sams club on rivers ave. Near the corner of Rivers ave and Aviation.

the meet "starts" at 5:00pm but most people roll in until 6:30..

this unoffical meet is open to everyone.
a basic meet goes like this:

Earlybirds get there and hang out.
Slackers roll in..
Everyone hangs out in the parking lot.
We decide where to go eat
We all cruise somewhere to eat.

Thats the basics... im sure this will update with Maps and such later...[/list]

So whats up for tomorrow? Where's dinner? I just got switch from squad A to squad B so, for the mean time, I work the exact opposite days I usually do. I should be at the meet tomorrow.

Do any of ya'll ever go to the track?I've never understood the reasoning of meeting in a parking lot versus the track.
At least 5 opportunities to run your car last SAT.at a $3000 race.Test and tune is always there.
But I reckon ya'll would rather go eat and drink.
I'm not bitching because if thats what ya'll want to do it's ok by me.I just get sick of seeing all the mustangs.
John

Some of us do go to the track but not every week. Most of us won't pay the $10 entry fee just to have a meet. That's why we never meet at the track. If we do, it's usually just the guys and it is scheduled for a race day. I like to go but my car isn't ready for the track yet. Still some suspension stuff needed. I think when it gets alittle cooler, like in Oct. you'll see more of us there.

Exactly. Not everyone is into drag racing. I love it but I haven't had the cash lately either.

Don't worry John....we'll be there soon enough. Are you ready to line em up yet? biggrin
