We take lots of pictures of the cars that we work on, and post them on our daily blog. I thought it would be cool to post some of the better ones here for you guys to check out, so I'll update this a few times a week! Its already bee broughten...... LOL

I think this car was from Rutherfordton. He brought it because he had a burnt valve. We fixed that, and tuned the car.

i bought my pt cruiser with a burnt valve. the pcv valve had fallen apart, causing it to ingest lots of oil into the intake. oil coated the valves and caused them to overheat, and eventually one failed. previous owner took it to a shop where they diagnosed it as a "hole in a piston, needs a new motor".

Nice! Any idea of what was done to it, mod wise? I have the typical bolt ons for the LSJ:
2.8 pulley, ZZP Heat Exchanger, 80# injectors, Boost Regulated Fuel Pressure Regulator, Header, Catless DP, Stock Catback... Tuned for E85 at the moment.

This was all street tuned by myself, and I haven't had it on the dyno yet. Hoping its making 250+ to the wheels. Guess your dyno day might be the only chance I get of getting this thing on the dyno before I sell it.

Also, when you guys tune LSJ cars, what do you use to command timing while on the dyno durning to find MBT?

With HP Tuners, the VCM Controls in the Scanner has the ability to command timing on the fly for most of there supported vehicles, but they don't have too much VCM Control support going for the LSJ crowd yet...
