The more I look at it the more horseshit it is. Where are you going to find a good condition, non leaking LT1 at? The newest one is now 14 years old, and you cant run anything but stock head gaskets and a rebuild that has to still have a stock bore? Give me an F'ing break. 5 cubes and good gaskets~10 hp at the crank. "In addition, any replaced head gaskets or other engine work must be reported on the tech sheet"... Give me an F'ing break. LMAO, and they want any other work done to be written down on the tech shit? WTF. I'm sure NASCAR has their teams do the same..disclose any advantage they find.

No weight break for the manual trans? Read somewhere the other classes are getting a weight break for a manual.

so how many "WTB: completely original low mile LT1 Longblock" threads are there now... unless they expect people to find brand new LT1 blocks to build a motor with... not to mention heads that havent been warped and havent bought a car that jimbo replaced one headgasket on in his backyard with whatever came in the kit form advance auto...
