took the passenger head off tonight and lifter failed and wiped the camshaft out with it but i am running a tci flexplate jay

Take them all out to verify. TRUST me. They may not look bent when looking at them with the intake on. But Pull them out and put them on a flat surface to make sure.

Greg, prior to hearing about the cam I would have guessed converter bolts against rear cover bolts. Clearance is very close with stock converter bolts/tci. I had that with mine.

Pretty easy to check. Pull starter and look at converter bolt heads. If therd was any contact it will be obvious.
