Mugen twin loop? Why do you need a twin loop for a four banger with a crankcase displacement the size of a 2 liter coke bottle? Seems a bit excessive, but I guess you are like all the other ricers out there who have more money than they know what to sensibly spend it on, so they buy expensive, useless car parts for 4-cylinder imports......Why don't you put a Tuned Port Injection setup on it like your old LT1 had? biggrin biggrin biggrin ass

The Mugen Twin Loop is one of the better exhaust for an import. They work really close with Honda and make parts that are really good quality.

Matt, did you happen to notice the 04'ish mustang 6-banger on rivers avenue leaving sams to go get grub that had V-TEC stickers all over it? He should put some Cobra R stickers on the Gaylude FTW! On a serious note, it is one clean looking import, I don't care who you are.

Hell yea i think the thing looks good. I don't see what all the deep seated hatred is for between imports and musclecars why cant they just coincide. Imports are really fun and super reliable when abused. I had a 91 crx with a 1.8 out of an integra GSR and it would do 8.7 on street tires ALL day long. That shit was fun. I have to say though there is nothing like torque and i mean nothing.

My integra makes so much power it snapped the a/c idler pulley right the fuck off.

Thanks Matt. The camaro sure has come a long way to from what i remember of it. Def the definition of clean domestic muscle.

I def know the line btw imports/domestics and where i stand now. There def is nothing, NOTHING like torque...but cant have everything in life lol. I do want a WS6 or even a Firehawk one day for my balls to the wall car.

After the transmission gets swapped to a manual ill be doing a small n/a build. Hopefully in the area of 200whp or so. Its a ways of...but one of the things id have done is get a port/polished TB-IM-Head done, anyone know of a place i could get this done at?

Matt your able to see the list seeing how im on your facebook friend list. Its under a note the build.

Thanks for the love!

Edit: HDR of another pic from a wk ago

Whay add the resistance of a muffler? You could always install two of these.

I don't see the point in restricting the exhaust with a twin loop set up, then again it might need all the back pressure it can get.

If you do a 7lb flywheel a good password jdm intake and a dc sport 4-1 header you should make in the ballpark of 180whp. Get some ITBs and a good tune and it should put you hella close to 200. And it will still be cheaper and WAY more torquey than getting the head or bottom end done.

For an intake i may just stick to the type s intake. For the header ill either end up with a custom one...one get a hytech. The hytech yielded about a 10hp gain which isn't to bad.

Heres a rough list of what i have planned for the car. Weight loss is a big part of it. Hope to get the car down to 2700-2750lbs. Factory it weighed 2954lbs.

Engine:
Skunk2 tuner series stage 2 cams
Aem adjustable cam gears
s2k tb
euroR manifold
hytech header
exhaust- unsure still
Skunk2 valve springs
Skunk2 valves
330cc RC injectors
obd1 conversion
tune
light weight fly wheel clutch set up
port/polish TB-IM-Head
thinner head gasket
ngk oem style spark plugs
ngk ignition wires

Weight Loss:
trunk gutted- done
rear seats removed- done
lightweight battery
a/c delete
possible cf hood
light weight seats
----------------------------------
Total weight lost- 102lbs

Again this is just a rough list. But more or less what it will end up being.
