ok so i got my car all back together and its time to start it up. The problem is you have to hold the gas down for it to run and then if it dies on you smoke starts coming from the pass side of the throttle body. im not sure what is going on and i hope someone here might be able to help. I have changed the iac vavle just the other day. the injectors are somewhat new. i replaced them a little while before i started to rebuild the motor. I can see the one on the drivers side and the spray pattern looks good, but it wont stay running long enough for me to get out and look at the other side. Also the tb is from a 91 305 and i have it sitting on top of a 283 with a thumper cam and holly intake with the adapter plate to fit the tb on it. If anyone have any suggestions on what to do i would be greatfull i would love to have my car back on the road soon
