Dear auto enthusiast,

Sit down. Seriously if you're not already.

So in my daily commute to & fro to the enchanting North "Chuck" district, I pass by some infamous Low country dealerships...most falling under the banner of "Rick Hendrick(insert brand loyalty auto manufacturer here)". So earlier this week I noticed a 4th gen, conv but non the less. That same day on the way home I noticed a second one, this one a hardtop parked on top of a vehicular pedestal. Finally after my natural curiosity getting the best of me and finding a minute in the day to look them up, I did. And heres what we found...

1st the vert.

Can you believe this??!?!??! WTF kinda substance abuse are these general managers on!??!?!?!?!? I can understand 12k or maybe even 14.5k-ish IF it was like ya know 13k original miles, one owner, bone stock etc. BUT THEY'RE NOT!!! Just run of the mill late 4th gens, and both autos! Now yes an auto can DEFF be made to make a "stick shifter" (like yours truly) look like a polish special needs child (and yes I can say, got the heritage and quite frankly living life as a partially mentally- handicapped adult aint so bad...people tend to take pitty "on yo azz") So again I ask WTF!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!? Remember back circa 2002-2009ish ANY dealer that got his hands on a 4th gen always "justified" their price with "WEll, ya know they're not makin'em anymore..." CAN'T use that anymore. Again WTF?!?!!??!!??! Wow, the balls on these guys!

if you wanna take it further, check out prices of '03 cobras.... those guys are on some real good shit. who in their right mind would pay 22k for a 8 year old car that might have been 35k when it was new? especially now that you can buy a '11 5.0 mustang that is pretty much just as fast as the '03 cobra for not alot more..... and you would be driving a NEW CAR WITH A WARRANTY.

True, very true

It just blows my mind! Hows a young enthusiast suppose to get a loan on a nearly 10 yr old car with an interest rate below 60%?? If i was in the market for an LSx F-car I'd be pretty tempted to go down there and inquire about the price justification, not even the car so much just the price. Its not fair to a kid who'd rather pay alittle more for fuel consumption but have an American sports/muscle car than a 2 yr old kia!
