I had a nice little run in with a newer style gt tonight on my way home from work. Cruising down 26 I came up on a gt with no exhaust. I was on the phone with the wifey when he decided to play...he stepped on it and got the jump, I stepped on it and just started walking him. Had a full car length before I hit 100. I was surprised at the kick my car had, kinda wish I had some taller gears tho... it was a nice kill. Come to find out they live in the apartments right next to my hood.[/quote]

Good kill! Time to throw some 3.73's in there with a nice Circle D 3600ish converter and a cam!

LOL, don't let me influence you.

I had plenty of fun in that car, it definitely surprised me what it would do even with the weak ass 2.73s, makes me wonder what all is really done to it. I almost took the converter out of my truck and tossed in some 3.42s (with a 26 inch tire anything more would get annoying as shit with a DD, ask me how I know.) but didn't get around to it. I did piss off plenty of yuppies in BMWs and Mercedes commuting in Atlanta. biggrin

I'm just mad I never got a chance to take it down the strip and see where it really was, I bet it would do pretty well. sad

I definitely will get around to some gears...I was just surprised at how fast it was on highway...since that was the first time I really got into it. It definitely has balls at low end with those 2.73s, though. It was cool feeling knowing I embarrassed the guy driving it. It was somewhat modified...it sounded pretty damn good actually.

BTW...I'm fastgming from my phone, so my responses may seem short and make no sense.
